Sunday, September 07 (11:30 am) – Worship with Holy Communion
Remembered & Restored – Genesis 8:1
When storms rise, when waters cover the earth, when it feels like the story is slipping away — God remembers. And when God remembers, God restores. This Sunday, Minister Kenneth Moales, III brings a word of hope from Genesis 8:1, reminding us that God does not forget us in the flood. God meets us in the middle, breathes a fresh wind, and begins to piece life back together — declaring the end of the storm and the beginning of something new. At the table of Christ, we will taste this promise for ourselves. In bread and cup we hear again the words, “Do this in remembrance of me.” To be remembered is to be restored, to be drawn into a future where God is already waiting.
