“When God Talks to Himself”
Romans 8:26-31
What if prayer doesn’t actually begin with you?
Most of us think of prayer as something we bring to God — the petitions we carry, the words we strain to find, the desperate reaching toward heaven when we don’t know what else to do. But Romans 8 turns that whole picture around. The Apostle Paul tells us that before we ever find the words, before we even know what to ask, the Spirit is already interceding. Already groaning on our behalf. Already in conversation with God about us.
This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Jaron S. Green brings the Word to Shiloh Baptist Church in a message titled “When God Talks to Himself.” Dr. GReen will open up one of the most breathtaking passages in all of scripture: the revelation that there is a heavenly conversation already underway about your life, your future, your flourishing. And that conversation — from the very beginning — has been rooted in mercy, love, redemption, and glory. Join us at Shiloh Baptist Church. Worship begins at 11:00 am. Come – somebody is already praying for you!
