Sunday, October 04 (11:00 am) with Holy Communion
“The Mind of Christ”
1 Corinthians 2: 6-16
Whose wisdom are you running on? Most of us never stop to ask. We pick up our sense of what’s smart, what’s safe, and what’s realistic from the news, the market, the group chat, and the people who look like they’re winning. Then we call it common sense and build a life on it.
Paul had a blunt word for the church at Corinth about that kind of wisdom. The best minds of his day, the ones holding the power and making the rules, looked right at the Lord of glory and saw a problem to get rid of. If the experts could miss Jesus, what have we been missing?
This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Jaron S. Green preaches “The Mind of Christ” from 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. It is an invitation to examine the wisdom we trust, to listen for the Holy Spirit, and to let Christ change how we think and what we choose. Come to worship and come to the Table. It is First Sunday, and Holy Communion will be served.
See the Shiloh Worship Page for Online Access to Worship.
