From Let Them to Let God –  Luke 14:25-33

We spend so much energy trying to control the people around us—our kids, our partners, our coworkers. Author Mel Robbins says, “Let them.” Jesus takes it further: “Let go.” And then—“Let God.” As Rabbi Rami Shapiro reminds us – we are all addicted to control. It’s the human condition. So, what do we do about that? The first step toward healing—echoed in the 12 Steps—is to quit playing God. This Sunday at Shiloh, we’ll wrestle with what it means to release control, deny ourselves, and live into the freedom of a love-based life. Join us as we discover the hard but holy gift of letting go.
