Sunday, June 07, 2026, 11 am; with Holy Communion
129 years ago, someone in this congregation said yes to a call they couldn’t fully see. No blueprint. No guarantee. Just a promise and a direction: go, and I will show you. This Sunday, the Sunday after Shiloh’s anniversary, we pick up that same walking stick.
Genesis 12 is the story of Abram and Sarai leaving everything familiar — land, family, the only life they’d ever known — because God said go. They didn’t get a map. They got a promise. And somehow, that was enough to put one foot in front of the other into a future only God could see.
Shiloh is in that story right now. A building being renewed. A pastor being prepared somewhere. A congregation that has survived everything empire has thrown at it and is still here, still faithful, still moving. Come this Sunday as we gather around Word and Table — and ask together what it means to trust the One who says: I will show you.
Worship begins at 11:00 am. Shiloh Baptist Church, 1 Holton Street, Medford. All are welcome.
