Sunday, November 01 (11:00 am) with Holy Communion
“Christ Did It All at Calvary”
Luke 23:26-33

The crowd that followed Jesus out to the Skull thought they knew what they were watching. A troublemaker getting what was coming to him. A movement falling apart. One more body broken by Rome on an ordinary afternoon. A man named Simon, pulled off the road and forced to carry a cross that wasn’t his, had no idea what he was carrying. The women weeping along the way saw only grief.

This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Green takes us to Calvary and asks us to look again. What the crowd saw as defeat was something they couldn’t begin to imagine. On that hill, Jesus was giving his life in love, for them, and for you and me.

So come stand at the foot of the cross with fresh eyes. Whatever you think you already know about Calvary, there is more there than meets the eye.
