After This… We Still Rise
A Sermon of Hope, Healing, and Holy Expectation
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)

What do you do when everything falls apart? When the past is too painful to remember and the future feels impossible to imagine—what then?

Rev. Dr. Andre Bennett returns to Shiloh with a word we desperately need to hear: God specializes in resurrection. In building roads where there’s only wilderness. In making rivers flow through deserts. This isn’t cheap hope. This isn’t “think positive” Christianity. This is the ancient, radical promise that God never stops creatingeven when we can’t see it, even when we’ve given up, even when the rubble is still smoking.

“After This… We Still Rise” is a sermon for anyone who’s been knocked down and isn’t sure they can get back up. For anyone who’s tired of pretending everything’s fine. For anyone brave enough to believe that what God is building next might be better than anything we’ve lost.

Rev. Dr. Bennett serves as Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Zion Baptist Church in Lynn and is a passionate advocate for equity and justice. He brings both theological depth and lived experience to this moment of transition and hope.

Come ready to grieve what was. Come ready to hope for what’s coming. Come ready to rise.
